Shadowrun in Providence
We'll use the alternate rules for "street level play" and "street scum" campaign. So use the street-level modification in the sidebar on page 64 (You may still take up to 25 karma in negative qualities, but can have at most 13 net karma from qualities. (Actually, you can have as many negative qualities as you like, you just only get benefits from the first 25)). Further, when picking priority levels, instead of of one each A, B, C, D, and E, you will take either B, C, D, E, and E, or C, C, D, D, and E. I will be dramatically increasing the speed of character advancement over the suggested.
If you have a great concept that requires bending some rules, let me know and we'll work something out.
I don't know the rules well enough yet to have house rules, but don't expect me me to precisely follow the rules as written. So if your character relies on some specific rules interaction to work, you should talk to me about that.
I'd like written backstories, at least a paragraph or two, and I won't promise to read more than 5 pages. Good things to be sure to include in backstory: your deepest secret and some of your long-term goals.
